Binbrook Santa Claus Parade

Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas,

Marshals: (adult volunteers only)
- Marshal volunteers will be assigned sections of the parade. Their responsibilities will include maintaining appropriate pace in the parade ( get the slow group to pick up the pace, and/or the group ahead to slow down), ensure the spectators do not crowd the roadway, and ensure that there is no jumping on or off floats one the parade has started.
Stationary Parade Coordinator: (adult volunteers only)
- SPC volunteers will be assigned designated locations along the parade route. Their responsibilities will including crowd control at their designated location, answering spectator questions, marshalling floats and entries at the beginning and end of the parade routes.
Costumed Characters:
- The most sought after volunteer experience! Your main responsibility will be to entertain the parade spectators, especially the children - Be the character! act silly! have fun with the crowds.
Banner Carriers:
- These volunteers will be at the front of the parade, carrying our sponsor banners.
General Event Assistance:
- If we are fortune enough to have enough volunteers to fill the core requirements above, additional volunteers will be utilized to help the Parade coordinators. Duties could include, character assistants (ensuring the safety of the customed characters during the parade), entry assistant
